Private Lessons

Private lessons are the perfect way to help you learn new steps at your own pace. Taken in conjunction with group lessons, your skill and confidence will improve exponentially. We work with you to create the best possible program to suit your skill level and dance goals.

Introductory Special: $220 for 4 Private Lessons (save 25%)

* Please note that 24 hours advanced notice is required to cancel, otherwise you will be charged for the missed lesson. Each private lesson is 45 minutes. No refunds.

Group Classes

Group classes are a fantastic way to learn the basic steps of any dance, and will help get you comfortable with just getting up and moving your body. Even if you think you have two left feet, we have classes that suit your comfort and skill level. Learning in a group environment with others of similar skill level is also a great way to meet new people who share a common interest and build lasting relationships.

Prices: $110 for 8 weeks of group classes

$ 65 for 4 weeks of group classes

$ 20 for one drop-in class

* Please note that if you need to miss a class and give us 24 hours advanced notice, we will offer you a make-up class in one of our other group classes (maximum of 2 make-up classes offered per term). Each group class is 60 minutes. No refunds.

Our Certified and Friendly Instructors

Rosalie Francisco

IA highly trained and certified Latin and Standard Ballroom Dance Teacher she currently performs, choreographs and teaches Latin and Standard Ballroom dances as well as informal dances including Salsa, Bachata and Bellydance to both youths and adults.

Frank Bishun

Frank dedicated his life to dance. Inspired by the likes of Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly, Gregory Hines and Mikhail Baryshnikov, his dancing style has been described as charismatic, energetic and just pure entertainment. With a diverse background in dance styles, which include Tap, Modern Jazz, Hip Hop and Social and Latin Ballroom. Frank has 25 years of experience in Latin Dance Culture and Music.

Kathleen Redford

Kathy has been teaching dance since 2010 - it is her passion. Her daughter first inspired her to dance, where she started with tap lessons but quickly moved into Ballroom to dance with her husband and hasn't looked back. Feeling the emotion of a song, being caught up in the moment of expressing herself through music, she quickly became addicted to being on the dance floor.

Shireen Ali

She has achieved her B.A. and M.A. in Dance Studies from York University and has acquired training in diverse techniques such as: Afro-Caribbean/Caribbean, Bollywood, Egyptian Beledi, Indian Folkdance (Laavni, Garba-Raas, Bhangra, Rajasthani), Jazz, Latin dance (Salsa, Merengue, Bachata), Samba, and West African. Shireen has taught Bollywood dance, BollyCORE, SexyABS, Zumba®,

Julio Pena

Julio specilize in Salsa and Bachata both beginner and intermediate. He has years of experience in Latin and Ballroom dancing.

Allan Torres

Experienced in Salsa & Latin Dances. Specialize in social dance, cotillion and wedding dance choreography.

Susan Tam

Susan has had previous dance training in Hip Hop, Lyrical, Jazz, Modern, Irish, and Chinese styles. She was introduced to Ballroom and Latin dancing during her high school years, and immediately became captivated with its ability to foster friendships, teamwork and communication skills, and self-expression/creative movement. Her love for partner dancing inspired her to later pursue the Ballroom Dance Teachers Training Program at Joy of Dance Teachers College.

Irina Bva

JIrina has been on the Yoga journey for several years trying all kinds of Yoga styles – Hatha, Ashtanga Vinyasana, Zen and Bikram Yoga. She became very passionate about Yoga and decided to become a Yoga instructor. After completing Group Core Yoga Teacher Training at North York YMCA in 2012 Irina started teaching at Markham YMCA and later at North York YMCA.
